User testing was front and center to the process. Micro tools were the urgent learning.

Managing and accessing files have to be second nature, which includes even files you don't have yet. Contextual Scene Extension, Edits, and Reshoots in seconds!

We had to prioritize open-ended usability testing during alpha and beta stages, tracking what features users gravitate toward and where confusion or friction occurs. Combining qualitative feedback with usage analytics helps us validate what’s working and what needs rethinking.

Making it all work together was a layout marathon; I almost had to break a rubix cube.
The most useful tool ended up being the content knowledge bucket which allows users to train the scene with their own references.
The beta grew from 8 users to 92 within the 6 weeks, and multiple AI filmakers have already submitted films for awards using the storyboarding tool.
